John H. Becker

John H. Becker, the managing principal of J.H.Becker Financial, is a registered investment advisor and financial consultant with an extensive background in strategic planning and problem solving applied to the fields of finance, engineering, and organizational management. His career began at the Boeing Company and successfully progressed to innovative Silicon Valley growth companies such as Silicon Graphics until joining Morgan Stanley where he mentored and partnered prior to going independent in 2004.

His earlier background, rooted in high performance computing, along with his experience and education in finance, provides for a unique combination of strengths, level of discipline, and insight that compliment his ability and passion to strategically plan and provide guidance in financial markets.

John studied at the University of Florida and San Jose State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a minor in Economics, and then completed certification requirements in Financial Planning at Florida State University.

John was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and attended Christopher Columbus H.S., a Marist tradition, before traveling west, and settling in Los Gatos, California, where he resides with his family in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
